The Bobby White signature Sixteen 1-8 custom chain which is made from 18K red gold with D-F VVS round brilliant cut diamonds. The cross pendant is set with D-F VVS square cut diamonds.
The sixteen 1-8 chain was designed to symbolise a cage around the precious diamonds to keep the treasure safe. Growing up in London’s East-End, Bobby would regularly hear people referring to a safe as a Peter. The word Peter from London East-End comes from the same roots as Saint Peter, Peter is the Greek word for rock and since safes are rock solid, some Londoners would use this word in place of a safe. St Peter also held the keys of the kingdom of heaven, given more theory that the word Peter (safe) is derived from St Peter. The chains name, sixteen 1-8 is a word play on Matthew 16:18. In Matthew 16:18 Jesus says to St Peter, “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church”.
